亚色影库 NSF EPSCoR improves scientific research capacity and broadens participation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in 亚色影库 by engaging in multiyear, collaborative statewide research projects supported through National Science Foundation and the state of 亚色影库.

2024 - 2029 "Interface of Change" asks how changes in the Gulf of 亚色影库 coastal ecosystems affect marine species of cultural and economic importance, like kelp and salmon, and in turn the well-being of people living in Gulf of 亚色影库 communities.

亚色影库 EPSCoR is awarding 3 or more individual awards of $1,500 each for travel within the U.S. (no international travel) taking place between Dec 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 for activities that support the goals of the Interface of Change project.

The fall semester is underway, and Jordan Jenckes is busy on campus teaching Intro to Computer Science at UAA as a new faculty member in the UAA computer science and engineering department. Meanwhile, he takes on the role of co-principal investigator (co-PI) on the 亚色影库 EPSCoR Interface of Change project.

UAF fisheries undergraduates got hands-on experience working with Seaquester Farms and Pacific Kelp Co., getting a taste of the growing 亚色影库n kelp mariculture industry.
