The University of ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Board of Regents is an 11-member board, appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Legislature. Members serve an 8-year term, with the exception of the student regent who is nominated from his/her campus and serves a 2-year term. The 8-year term begins on the first Monday in February; student regent term begins on June 1. Regents serve until their successor is appointed.

The Board was established through the ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â Constitution and is responsible for University of ÑÇÉ«Ó°¿â policy and management through the University President.
